Bad hookah coals ruin a session faster than the wrong tobacco: aftertastes, cooling down quickly, piles of ash. The DUM Black 27mm coconut coals do not. They are compressed from pure coconut shells, without glue or chemical additives, and burn calmly and evenly.
DUM has been supplying reliable shisha coals for years. Each cube measures 27 by 27 by 27 millimeters, sits stably on foil or in a heat management device and burns for about 60 minutes, longer than most other coals. Because the coconut material largely burns up, you are left with hardly any ash.
Heat the coals on a coal burner until they glow evenly orange on all sides, which takes four to eight minutes. Only place them on your hookah tobacco head when the black spots are gone. After 10 to 15 minutes, gently tap off the ash and turn the coals occasionally. Store the rest dry and sealed, because moisture makes coals harder to light.
