No open flames, no gas burner, no smoke in the house. Just switch it on, put the coals on, and they'll glow red within minutes.
Place the coal burner on a heat-resistant surface, put two or three blocks of hookah coals on the heating element, and plug it in. After four to eight minutes, the coals will be gray-white all around and ready for use. Pick them up with tongs and place them on your tobacco bowl. You can also preheat during your session, so you never have to wait for new coals.
