Instead of multiple holes in the base, this head has one central hole in the middle. This keeps your shisha tobacco's juice neatly in the bowl instead of leaking out. The result is a clear, consistent flavour from the first to the last puff, and a session that is less likely to turn bitter.
Fill the bowl loosely to just below the rim and do not press the tobacco down, otherwise the airflow will stall. Use a shisha coal burner to ensure your coals glow well before placing them on the head. A Phunnel shisha bowl has a single opening in the center of the bowl instead of multiple holes at the bottom. This prevents the tobacco juice from leaking into the stem.
You can fill the bowl with approximately 25 to 30 grams of tobacco. This is enough for a session of about an hour, depending on how heavily you smoke.
