Fill the bowl loosely to just below the rim and do not press the tobacco down, otherwise the airflow will stall. A Phunnel shisha bowl has a single opening in the center of the bowl instead of multiple holes at the bottom. This prevents the tobacco juice from leaking into the stem.
You can fill the bowl with approximately 25 to 30 grams of tobacco. This is enough for a session of about an hour, depending on how heavily you smoke.
