This silicone part catches molasses before it reaches your vase, keeping the downstem and vase clean for much longer. The glossy black glaze not only makes the bowl beautiful but also easy to clean. Many clay and stone tobacco bowls are simply a cup with holes. The APPO Silko goes further: the molasses catcher is integrated into the construction itself. Molasses normally drips down through the downstem, making the smoke column bitter, but here, the moisture remains in the silicone base. The four holes in the phunnel design ensure an even airflow, while the stone part retains and distributes heat effectively.
The silicone base slides off the stone top. Fill the chamber just below the rim and gently press the tobacco so that the holes do not get clogged.
